"Chase the bag, love will come"
'Love' that suddenly starts coming only after you've become rich, is not love.
You can call it 'babe', 'girlfriend' or 'wife' but calling it 'love' is a looong stretch.
Sure, there are exceptions, but yours is most likely not one of them.
Recognise it for what it is, and TREAT IT ACCORDINGLY.
This is why it is my argument that if you never experienced genuine love while you were broke, you have almost zero chance of filtering out the gold diggers and it'll take a miracle for you to not end up with one.
This is because you have no point of personal reference to compare against and you'll interprete the inevitable show of affection from pretty faces, as 'Love'
You have no standard to measure against so they will take 10 naira to buy you a gift from the 1000 naira you have....
Given them and you'll interprete it as love and brag about them on social media.
You're an easy target for romantic predators and they will pick you apart even as they proclaim their 'love' for you.
The best strategy is to marry the person that loved you when you weren't rich despite the fact that they had richer options.
The next best strategy is to make money, marry a wife and father children that will LOVE you.
