India has decent Raksha (security) and Poshan (logistics). It is extremely weak in Palan (justice) and yogakshema (generation & securing wealth).
To fix:
1. judicial reforms
2. police reforms
3. equal rights (UCC+scrap reservations)
4. property rights (abolish waqf act etc)

Any semblance of property rights do not exist in India. Anyone can encroach, hard to get rid of squatters or tenants, anything can be seized. There is no free speech (which is a kind of property). No noise enforcement, etc.
Judicial and police reforms are needed before fixing it

Judiciary is presently not answerable to anyone. Its a second center of power that legislates from the bench using suo moto or PIL. This is a violation of separation of powers.
Judges to be appointed by executive after being confirmed by the legislature. Add impeachment clauses.

Police are undermanned, underpaid and underequipped.
There is no SOPs on how to deal with different threats or interrogation techniques or internal affairs. This fix is going to be expensive but urgent.

A soceity without equal rights WILL fracture. All kinds of arbitrary privileges and subsidies are DESTRUCTION of wealth and go against yogakshema. No freebies, no privileges etc based on birth. Absolute must to preserve the nation. /end.
