7 helpful tips to improve your current situation
1. Stop worrying.
It helps nothing, it simply makes you suffer more than necessary. Imagine worrying about a presentation and instead of just feeling uncomfortable for the 10 minutes you're doing it, you spend a whole day worrying about it.
It’s just wasted time and energy.
2. Trust and believe that everything will work out.
A positive mindset will get you far in life. Stop expecting the worst case scenario, it’s usually unlikely to happen. How has it benefited you so far in life? Why don't you try expecting the best? What do you have to lose?
Having faith is trusting the good, doubting is trusting the bad.
3. Figure out what you want.
Can you expect to get what you want if you don't know what it is? It can be difficult to know, but start with some reflection, what do you not want? What do you like? What brings you joy? If you imagine a perfect future, what does it look like?
4. Have a good morning routine, whatever that looks like for you.
Starting the day right is so important, it really sets up the rest of your day. You could include things like gratitude, meditation, stretching, a walk, praying & journaling. Whatever makes you feel good.
5. Listen to your inner guidance, your intuition.
Do the things that feel right for you. If you struggle to listen, start small. When going for a walk, does it feel right to go to the right or left here? With practise it’ll get easier to listen and to know what to do.
6. Have strong boundaries.
It’s so important that you’re kind to yourself, don’t let other people step on you or make you uncomfortable. Stand up for yourself and you’ll feel much more comfortable in your own body. Strong boundaries keep bad people away.
7. Be aware of the small stuff.
The words you use, what you watch, how music makes you feel. A woman was wearing a shirt that said “I’m bored”, she might not think much of it, but imagine what it subconsciously does to you to look in the mirror and see that?
Food for thought.
