Let's look at the architecture of DALL·E 2 🏗
DALL·E 2 consists of two parts:
1. Convert captions into a representation of an image called prior.
2. Turn this prior representation into an actual image.

The text and image embeddings used in DALL·E 2 are powered by @OpenAI state-of-the-art deep learning model #CLIP
CLIP is a #neural #network that returns the best caption given the image and vice-versa.

DALL·E 2 just needs a text prompt to generate photo-realistic images. It can combine concepts, attributes, and styles.
