@KarimKh55196148 I read an article that’s mostly quite good, except it was marketed as “refut[ing] arguments that discourage the recitation of the Quran without knowing its meaning” – who really makes such arguments? And what’s the net benefit of refuting them?
@KarimKh55196148 So while the article makes some decent points about the aesthetics and effects of the Quran, its publication dredged up for me some of the sillier iterations of this debate, hence me summarising where I stand on this.
