Marrying in Kaafir countries in the Hanbali madhab:
1) It's haram to marry a Christian or Jew in kaafir lands
2) It's haram to get married at all without a necessity, such as fear of zina
3) If one marries due to necessity, it is recommended that they avoid having children
4) If they marry without a need to do so, it is then obligatory to avoid having children
5) If the Muslim woman cannot have children, then it is permissible to marry her even without a need.
The reasoning the Hanbali fuqaha gave was the fear that the children would be misguided
See: مطالب أولي النهى ٥/٧
Presumably, the same reasoning would apply to marrying in Muslim countries then bringing your wife to the kaafir country, though I haven't seen an explicit statement on this in the books of the madhab
