A plaque commemorating the visit of Jagadguru Kanchi Shankaracharya Sri Jayendra Saraswati swamigal and Sri Vijayendra Saraswati swamigal to the Shankaracharya mandir in 1997, and the vigraha of Adishankaracharya installed by his holiness.
The Shankaracharya mandir is managed by Dharmarth trust, founded by Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1846 as an endowment for religious charity, and to manage and support Hinduism.
Currently Maharaja Karan Singh is the sole chairperson trustee since 1959.
Cheshma Shahi/Sahibi - A garden built around a spring by Ali Mardan Khan, the governor of Kashmir Subah under Mughal emperor Shah jahan in 1632 CE.
This spring is the location where a prominent 17th century Kashmiri Pandit saint Mata Rupa Bhawani (daughter of Pandit Madhav Joo Dhar) performed her sadhana.

Nishat Bagh - Another Mughal garden built in 1633 CE by Asaf Khan, elder brother of Nur Jahan and the Grand Vizier to Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
The remains of Avantiswami temple in Avantipora, dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu, built in 9th century CE by Kashmiri Hindu king Avantivarman of the Utpala dynasty.
The temple is built in the Panchayatana style, consisting of a central shrine for Bhagwan Vishnu surrounded by four subsidary shrines in its four corners, each said to be dedicated to Garuda ji, Bhudevi ji, Saraswati ji and Ganapati ji.
There are 69 miniature cells along the surrounding walls of the courtyard, which used to be the rooms for Brahmin priests.
