The different types of introvert. Which one are you?
Quiet. Small circle. Prefers being indoors. Avoids social events.
These are common behaviors of introverts, but there's more to what describes introverts.
Studies show that there are 4 types of introverts. This is what I'll show you in this thread.
Social introvert.
They're the most outgoing and private people you'll ever find.
They feel comfortable in social settings. But staying out for too long feels draining.
They love spending time alone, but still enjoy having a few friends around them.
And are the most social when around their few friends.
You can easily assume they're extroverts when among these friends, but that's not how they act with everyone.
Thinking introvert.
Although they don't mind socializing, they rarely do because they're often lost in their imagination.
People who don't know them will assume they're unfriendly.
These ones are very introspective and more connected to their feelings than the average person.
It's difficult to connect with the thinking introvert because of their unique way of thinking.
And it's harder for them to explain it to the average person.
Anxious introvert
These ones are experts in replaying situations in their heads. They rethink a better way to have acted. To have said things, etc.
Anxious introverts crave solitude even when they're with their close friends.
New social situations make them uncomfortable.
And they're over analytical about their behaviors in public
Restrained Introverts
Rushing into situations makes them uncomfortable - especially social ones.
They're reserved, thoughtful, and don't like change.
They love their routines. And would only go out if they've planned for it in advance.
If you couldn't relate to any of these, it's possible you could be an extrovert.
