#Thread Mysteries of the Patal Bhuvaneshwar...
The amazing and divine Patal Bhuvaneshwar cave is located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. To enter this cave 90 feet below sea level, one has to pass through very narrow paths.
The description of this divine cave is also found in the Manas Khand of Skand Puran. It is said that the deities used to reside in this cave in ancient times. On entering the cave, mysterious stone sculptures start appearing in the cave.
A thousand feet of Airavat, the Vahan of Devraj Indra, Murti of Sheshnag, Kedarnath Jyotirling, Murti of Bhagwan Badrinath and many other stone sculptures can be seen here. There is also a giant tongue of Bhagwan Kaal Bhairav in this cave.
It is said that when Mahadev cut off the head of Ganesh Ji, his head was kept in this cave. Then Mahadev had also established Brahma Kamal just above the head of Ganesh Ji. Even today, that head is situated in the form of a stone in this cave.
And just above that head, there is a big Brahma kamal, from which the drops of water keep falling on the head continuously. There are four doors in this cave which are known as the Ran dwar, Pap dwar, Dharm dwar and Moksh dwar.
After the death of Ravan, the Pap dwar was closed and after the war of Mahabharat, the Ran dwar was closed. In Kali Yuga, only the Dharm Dwar and Moksh Dwar have been opened. It is said that the path of this cave also leads to Swarglok.
