Here is the thing:
If you rely on other people's validation to define yourself, you're doomed.

You're never gonna be enough.

The positive side, is that you don't need anyone validation besides your own.

Self-esteem and self-confidence don't come out of the blue.
You need to give yourself reasons to believe in yourself.
Meaning, you should be achievement oriented.
Not to boast or show off to others, but to have past achievements that allow you to trust your abilities.

This might sound vague, but here is how to practically do it.
There are 2 aspects to this:
1- Achieving
2- Giving yourself credit
Because the first is never enough.
You need to feel your achievements.
So I'm gonna say something most gurus here disagree with:
CELEBRATE.

Set milestones and reward yourself for achieving them.

The way I keep track of everything is by using my whiteboard as a progress tracker.
It's in my room, it's the first and last thing I see everyday.
This works as a reminder that I still need to go harder on my goals while the checked boxes give me reasons to keep going.

Stop using complex applications and reading useless books about motivation.
Get a fucking whiteboard or even a piece of paper and put all your goals on it with deadlines.
Now get your ass to work and remember you did it all on your own.
