ITC is a bad investment choice for me. 1 Lakh invested 5 years back have become Rs 90000 and with 6% inflation rate + 4% dividend yield, the value drops to Rs 80000. That's a 20% loss. Where do you beat inflation? The purpose of equity investment is to beat inflation.
