If you struggle with procrastination, open this:
1. Be around positive Influences
It may be hard to admit but some people aren't good for you
Some people may be fun but not support your goals
Surround yourself with people who have similar goals and will challenge you, not those who promote procrastination
2. Plan your days ahead
Make a habit of writing every task you need to tackle the next day before bed
Plan your "one big task" and your "daily non-negotiable daily tasks"
Mapping out your days like this means your important goals and tasks will be completed in ample time
3. Don't over complicate things
There never will be a perfect condition to do something
Perfectionism is one of the biggest reasons for procrastination
Do things on a β€œneed to do” basis and let go of the belief you need to keep a perfect schedule
4. Develop a positive mindset
Procrastination often stems from having a negative dynamic
A good tip is to replace negative thoughts about a task with positive ones
Positive thoughts will motivate you take action
5. Set small goals
Having a set list of small achievable goals will help you tackle larger tasks which seem overwhelming
Try breaking them down to more manageable goals that can be completed in less than an hour
It's much easier to move in the right direction this way
6. Remove distractions
Your working environment may not be helping your procrastination
Small distractions will derail progress and add to your stress levels
Close any extra tabs, turn off notifications and try to do 1 hour of focused work
7. Redefine goals and set realistic objectives
Focus on more realistic objectives and goals
Abstain from "fairyland" goals because pursing the impossible will guarantee procrastination
