Now lets start.
1) There's just too much to learn and forget one, not even a million lifetimes will be enough to know everything by oneself.
2) And what one learns should be applied across one's daily life else its just a waste of time.

I'll try to keep the tweets within the scope mentioned in the previous tweet.
Now, hindu sanatana dharma is a veritable library for those who have actually cared to even take a peek.
For many others, the existence of this library is like the yeti.

You keep hearing fabled stories about it but have never seen it.

Shoulders they stand.
Now this is for those who are interested but are frightened or put off by the sheer size of the dharmic library.
How or where does one start ?
Vedas ? Agamas ? Upanishads ? mahabharata ? Gita ? Any other texts ??

The easiest advice would be to start reading texts of your sampradaya but there's another approach.
That of asking oneself what one intends to actually do.
Why ?

This is the best filter mechanism to find what is that you want to do and look for those texts which can get you off to a start.
Why ?
Because this reduces the barriers to entry (for learning) and also uses self motivation go guide to find a right fit.

Any text or learning that neither improves one's mental Γ©quilibrium nor moves one to action, one can discard (for the moment)
Its because one might not yet be ready to digest and redirect that knowledge into action.
So find a book that not only is a call to action

But also ends up in real action.
For ex., Take India, that is bharat by j sai deepak.
Should everyone read it ? Absolutely.
But can everyone relate to it or understand it ?
Even more, can everyone put that knowledge into action ?

Even though most would like to respond yes. The reality is that most of us, if not all, over estimate our abilities.
Those who'd like to debate and discuss are the ones who'd most likely profit from that book.
Because they'll take that condensed knowledge and unwrap it

Unwrap it as well enrich it with other books referenced in it.
some others who read it, do it to remove the cobwebs of coloniality from the deepest recess of their minds.
Mant others just don't use that rich information. Waste of their time and energy.

Time and energy. The only things that actually count.
"We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one".

So those who cannot apply learning in real life should join those who already do.
So they can learn by doing.

As oft repeated, dharma is the only universal currency.
And doing dharma requires only a *SINCERE* willingness.
Everything else falls into place once that sincerity is realised from within.
Find the smallest possible dharmic act that you can do for a day and do it.

Knowledge is only useful when its translates into action.
Else its just another form of escape from reality.
Been through that alley(again)
(Learn -> reflect -> apply -> realise) iterate.
I'll stop here before i overdo myself.
