During early 2000s in Patna, as a kid used to go out for morning walks in parks. There educated and classy Sikh, Bengali, Sinha uncles used to greet us and have a friendly chat with parents

Gradually they left due to Lalu Raj, those classy uncles were replaced by langot wearing subalterns who started harassing/getting into fight with others.
The old world sophisticated Hindi/English was replaced by MC/BC abuses.
We stopped going on our morning walks.

Same pattern happened in Delhi. The soft spoken Punjabi and service class were replaced by Fartuner/Skarpio enthusiast
I guess the natural progression from here would be to lock yourself in high end gated communities, you know those 2 bhk for โน3 crore Godrej/Supertech societies
