How to not be useless:
Ask the right questions
Stop wondering why something is happening to you.
Rather find out what you're doing to attract those things to you.
The solution to most of your problems is within.
Start with doing and not learning.
You learn faster when you do.
But if you focus on learning all you can before starting, you'll become overwhelmed by all the information out there and not do anything.
Take action and learn everything you need in the process.
Be quiet and work hard.
- Don't announce your fitness goals.
- Don't announce your money goals.
- Don't announce your new project goals.
These things make you comfortable. Delay the gratification you get from announcing your goals and just work.
Be impatient with the execution and patient with the results.
It takes hours to execute, but years to see results.
Play the long game and there's no way you'll lose.
Be humble enough to learn and generous enough to teach.
Your ego will hold you back from learning.
Your selfishness will hold you back from teaching others.
Kill these two and nothing can stop you.
Indecisiveness will kill you.
Learn to choose a path and stick with it.
No one will respect you if you can't make up your mind.
Be real with yourself
Look within. Ask yourself if your daily habits are in line with where you've imagined for yourself.
Depression and anxiety will only affect you to the degree you let it.
- Eat better
- Exercise
- Journal
- Go outside
- Sleep well
- Develop healthy habits
And see how everything changes.
Follow your interests
Sometimes all you need to do when you feel stuck is to follow your interests.
Learn as much as you can. Practice as much as you can. Apply as much you. This is how you find your path.
Arrogance gets in your way.
If you think you're better than everyone, you’ll hardly learn anything new.
Everyone knows something you don't know. Be humble enough to ask questions.
Don't copy everything you see.
Everyone has different backgrounds, expectations, and privileges. And by default, we're bound to have different outcomes.
Do the best you can do with what you have, and find peace in it.
