In 12 months, our SaaS went from $0 to $1M ARR.
It's so easy. You just need to commit.
Nah! I'm kidding!
It was really hard 🤯
Here's a few things we did to achieve each major milestone.
$0 👉 $1K MRR
- shipped a useful but very imperfect product
- Had a small but relevant audience on Twitter (about 3K followers for @tibo_maker back then)
- Wrote on Reddit
- Ultra-basic landing with a demo GIF and a CTA, that's it.
(yes it really was that ugly 🤮)

I still have a tough time believing it 😲
Our latest experiments involve SEO and content which are starting to drive traffic.
And of course we've got PLENTY of other fun things planned product and marketing-wise.

#1 Do marketing that you have fun doing (I like side-products)
#2 Product and Marketing are LINKED, not opposite
#3 You can start with a disgusting landing page and still make it 🤣

There were many failures, things that didn't work, things that still don't work even after 10 tries.
Failing a lot of times is what lead us to "get lucky" sometimes.
It's because we try so many weird things that some of them end up working.
