BBC takes issue with the hearing of claims that the 2018 chemical attack in Douma, Syria, was staged. The irony, notes @aaronmate, is that BBC’s own producer, Riam Dilati, made the most categorical claim of staging! BBC ignoring this indicates the level of deception going on. 3/4
Attacks on dissenting voices may continue from organisations like BBC, but the important question is: what will the public do? Will we keep tolerating these attacks on honest open inquiry? Or will we insist on genuine respect for academic freedom and freedom of speech? 4/4
