War in Europe has been a gold rush for defence interests. MEPs are rubber-stamping an historic shift towards a militarised EU, writing blank cheques for the arms industry. We must apply the brakes to this process, before it is too late.
"As the public in both Europe and the wider world confront deepening ecological, economic and military crises, the EU is pursuing a path of armament and inter-imperialist rivalry. This will be regarded as a mistake in years to come."
