This thing of - " I don't have an ideology. I am neutral. I side with oppressed. Violence is bad" is very juvenile.
Violence happens because it is ideologically justified. Based on that justification it is deemed okay if some destruction happens. People or things.

This has nothing to do exclusively with Religion. State, Police, Nation States, Terrorists, Religious groups, Communist regimes, Naxalites, Assorted groups of criminals - all indulge in violence from time to time.

Scratch their back they will all have some ideological justification for their acts. Sometimes you like/understand it sometimes you don't. Your reactions to those specific acts of violence will change based on that.

Saying I don't have ideology I am neutral is meaningless. It is just a way of evading discussion on the topic. Only those who are totally unaffected by the consequences of the act in question can afford to do that.
