@MagicPeaceLove It sounds like it’s self-evident to you, and you’re a pretty original thinker, so I’m curious why exactly you think so!
Example: I’ve read plenty of sci-fi where cheap robot swarms are a great tool for freedom/rebels (e.g. Verner Vinge).
@MagicPeaceLove Another example: as drone/AI gets cheaper, weaker/guerilla groups are now fielding them against expensive state militaries.
@MagicPeaceLove The state always has more resources, but it seems if the “unit” is smaller, that enables the smaller players more accessibility; versus very expensive units where even acquiring one is hard for the smaller player.
@MagicPeaceLove So the state surely has more, but I’m not (yet?) convinced that a world where many many robots are available tilts inexorably bad in favor of one negative outcome.
