Everything must be perfectly clear for the visitor. Organize your website intelligently to avoid him to get lost.

This one is key. Since I start using BigCommerce instead of Shopify, my conversion rate skyrocketed, mostly because of the one page checkout which make your abandoned checkout rate drop as hell.

Okay, most of you won’t agree on this one but you don’t need PayPal. PayPal fees are extremely high and they can block your money, so big no no

Visitors love : free product if you buy this product, free shipping for orders over X, BOGO, big sales for a limited time etc.
Showing scarcity also works very well : having some OOS products can urge them to buy
