Motivation is what drives us to make the things happen and achieve our goals
But staying motivated isn’t always easy
If you ever feel like you’ve hit wall try the following tips to get motivated:
1. Get some momentum
It takes 3 months to build a new habit
Try to keep on a new habit for at least 3 months so that these habits become routines
This way it becomes effortless to remain motivated in whatever you do
2. Stop Multitasking
Stop trying to divide your attention and give your full undivided attention to one task
When you do this your chances of succeeding increase
If you can successfully complete more tasks this way you'll remain motivated
3. Exercise daily
Exercise can help to reduce stress and anxiety, boost mood, and improve your sleep
All of this combined makes you feel good
It’s far easier to stick to your goals when you feel refreshed, and your body is performing at its peak
4. Stop comparing yourself to others
Get inspiration from those around you, but don’t beat yourself up if you’re not on the same level in some areas
Nobody’s life is perfect!
Everyone is facing their own struggles, and everyone has bad days, just like you
5. Try different approaches
Getting started alone is sometimes a problem
You simply need to step back and give a different approach to the problem
This will give you a better perspective and more energy
6. Have a plan
Once you have a goal in place
You need a plan that will take your vision and break down the steps you need to get it done
A goal without a plan, as you know, is just a dream
7. Get Organised
Make sure your workspace is uncluttered so your mind can be organized
A calm environment gives you a better chance of being more efficient and productive which boosts motivation
8. Set new goals
Think about what you want to achieve next week, next month, and next year
Try to tackle one goal at a time so you don’t feel overwhelmed
9. Surround yourself with positive people
Positive friends and family can enhance your positive self-talk
A positive self-image will help you to manage the anxiety associated with staying motivated
Take control of your life and get "Live Intentionally" to:
- Build your discipline, self-control, and motivation
- Assign yourself a personal mission/goal and work on it
- Fix your mindset and get rid of self-defeating thoughts
