the complexity of coding my little puzzle game is rapidly increasing ;-;'
πŸŸ₯ push block
🟦 slippery/ice block
🟩 lightweight push block
🟨 pull-only block
there are lots of quirks in this
🟦 ice blocks slide until they hit something, and if they hit another ice block, the force is transferred to that block (newton's cradle style)
it's an open question whether they should push lightweight boxes or push blocks as well, hm
another quirk with ice blocks - they don't carry their stack
if you have a stack like this:
πŸŸ₯
πŸŸ₯
🟦
and then push the bottom ice block, it slips out, as it doesn't actually carry the two blocks above (which, otherwise would be too heavy to push, which, are now crushing you~)
another quirk is that secondary movement can also push ice blocks
say you push these stacks from the bottom left
🟩🟦
πŸŸ©πŸŸ©β¬›πŸŸ₯
the ice block will start moving, since it carries velocity, it will slide over the red block, fall down, and keep moving until it hits something
