UNLucky Number 13
*A 🧵 for the (13=1+3=4) 4th of July*
In Numerology it is said, "He who understands the Number 13 will be Given Power & Dominion. It is a number of Upheaval & Destruction; a symbol of power which, if wrongly used, will wreak havoc and destruction upon itself."
At the Last Supper, there were 13 guests & Christ was betrayed. In Norse Mythology, 12 Allies of Odin gathered in Valhalla when Loki ambushed the group. Loki was the 13th guest, and Balder the Beautiful was killed.
Death is the 13th Trump in the Major Arcana of Tarot.
The 13th Chapter of the Book of Revelations mentions the Antichrist and the Beast. The word Treason is used 13 times in the Bible.
In the 13th Psalm, it is written: "The fool has said in his heart, There is no G-d".
The Hebrew Name of G-d, YHWH, equals 26 or 13x2.
Friday the 13th is the Day the Knight's Templar were Executed.
Nevertheless, it can clearly be shown that 13 is the most cherished number of the Masonic Founding Fathers. Starting with the 13 colonies, the first national flag had 13 stars, and even today it still has 13 stripes.
On the Dollar Bill there are 13 steps in the pyramid of the Great Seal. The motto above the pyramid, which reads “Annuit Coeptis,” has 13 letters; the eagle on the right side has a ribbon in its beak that bears the motto “E pluribus unum,” which contains 13 letters.
The Eagle has 13 tail feathers, and on its breast there is a shield of 13 stripes. In One Talon the Eagle holds 13 arrows, and in the other an Olive Branch with 13 leaves and 13 Berries. Over the Eagle’s head are 13 stars that form the six-pointed 'Star of David' or HEXagram.
"July the Fourth" contains 13 Letters and the Number 4 or 1+3. "E Pluribus Unum" contains 13 Letters.
The Number 13 symbolizes the Death of Matter or Oneself & the Birth of the Spirit, the Resurrection. America is the Allegorical Phoenix Rising from the Ashes, Atlantis Reborn.
There is 13 Moon Cycles Each Year. A Year with 13 Full Moons was considered Auspicious. The average celestial motion of the Moon is 13° per day, and 13 weeks is the time it takes the Earth to travel from the equinoxes, to the solstices.
There is actually 13 Houses of the Zodiac, Not 12. The Greeks choose to remove one of the Original 13 Constellations from the Zodiac in order to accomplish their desire to have each sign rule for an even 30° of the Sky, in order to hide this knowledge and control time & History.
The Greeks got rid of Ophiuchus, the 🐍 Bearer, who in Greek Mythology as Aesculapius brought Orion back to life after the 🦂 fatally wounded his heel. As a precaution, Orion and the 🦂 took places on opposite sides of the sky, but Ophiuchus & Orion remained close allies.
In ancient Mesopotamia, Marduk (Orion) was the King of Gods. In Old Kingdom Egypt, Orion was represented by Sah, the Father of the G-ds, “swallowed at dawn by the Underworld but had the power to emerge again into the night sky”.
By the time of the New Kingdom, Sah was syncretized with Osiris, whose soul was said to rest in Orion’s Belt. The Scorpion that wounded Orion is exactly opposite him on the celestial sphere & is located just below the feet of Ophiuchus, again showing that the two are linked.
Ophiuchus rises out of the southeastern sky in the Northern Hemisphere, riding the celestial equator & peaking around late June before dipping back below the horizon for winter.
Orion, meanwhile, rises out of the southeastern sky in the Northern Hemisphere, riding the celestial equator and peaking around late December before dipping back below the horizon for the summer. Ophiuchus is the Summer Counterpart to Orion. But there is even more.
The Lines of the Ecliptic of the Sun & Milky Way form a giant cross across the sky, with two intersecting points. These two points are, roughly, the top of Orion’s back arm and the bottom left corner of Ophiuchus, where he holds the Serpent or Healing Snake.
To the Ancients, these points marked what are often called the “Gateways of the Soul”. One, at Orion’s Hand, marks the “Silver Gate” or the Gate of Man. The other in Ophiuchus marks the “Golden Gate” or the Gate of the Gods. Now these 'Two Gates' are known as the Two St. Johns.
Now as we covered, there is 13 Lunar Months but that changed with the introduction of the Gregorian Calendar. The story about Osiris being cut into 14 Pieces and One Piece (Ophiuchus) not being found is a Allegory about the Movement of the Sun through the 13 Houses of the Zodiac.
13 weeks is the time it takes the Earth to travel from the equinoxes, to the solstices. So therefore, 13x4=52 is the time it takes in weeks the Earth to make one complete revolution around the Sun, and in most years lunations (conjunctions between the Sun & Moon) occur 13 times.
The Sumerian used a Zodiac including 13 constellations and 26 Main Stars. 26 is the Number of YHWH or 13+13. The word Star is used 13 times in the Quran. The word Dragon and the term "Son of God" are used 13 times in the New Testament.
13 is the Number of Rebirth.
To the ancient Celtic & Norse, 13 is a LUCKY Number, and on Friday the 13th they took time to celebrate the Goddess because Friday is named after Freya the Norse name for Venus and 13 is her sacred number.
There are 5 Venus cycles that occur every 8 years and in that 8 years Venus goes around the Sun 13 times. The 13th rune in the Norse Elder Futhark “Eiwaz” is, also, linked with the balance between light & dark, death & rebirth, Heaven & the Underworld.
Is 13 Lucky or Not?
