1. Three weeks ago I started a journey on twitter – of learning & teaching. I started telling truth about our civilization & its enemies.
The response was overwhelming. You read & shared in huge numbers. For that: immense gratitude.
But our journey needs to go deeper.
2. Today, our country, our culture and our civilization are at a critical juncture. We are thinking about the problems that face us today. And we realize that the problems are not local, and they are not selective. They will affect everyone everywhere.
3. Once the understanding of the theory of a problem dawns on our minds, an urge for praxis also starts plaguing us. What is to be done? The first step to contribute is to understand the problem and its components. Knowledge always precedes praxis/ action.
4. The civilizational problems that plague us require a crystal clear understanding. And we need a critical number of Hindus to develop that understanding – a number big enough to push for lasting social change ultimately translating to political and civilizational change.
5. Seen this way, knowledge is praxis. They are one and the same. By knowing you shall act. By teaching and learning you will overcome our civilizational opponents. And that is all you need to do now. You need to commit to deep learning and you need to teach others.
6. I do not work alone, as you well know. I work at @brhat_in, a Culture Creative organization. At Bṛhat we are committed to connect India’s policy to our ancient culture. But most importantly, we are committed to deep learning.
7. Deep learning is only possible by building lasting relationships with our audience. Our design is life-cycle engagement which goes from awareness on platforms like twitter to engagement in dialogue through structured learning modules, culminating in co-learning & co-evolving.
8. We aim to achieve this through our digital education offering called Bṛhat Dṛṣṭā. The first series that we offer is – Fire Keepers of Civilization, building on ancient & contemporary thinkers of our culture. The first thinker in the series is Shri Ram Swarup.
9. ‘An Introduction to Shri Ram Swarup’ is based on the works of Shri Ram Swarup, one of India’s greatest thinkers. With great insights and wit, he answers some of our most burning problems. This course will engage you in a long-term commitment to deep civilizational work.
10. Learning about all our civilizational problems in 8 short lectures, through the works of Shri Ram Swarup, you will become beacons of knowledge yourself, knowledge which is civilizational and capable of dispelling ignorance about our culture and society.
11. I will be taking this course at @brhat_in.
We will soon share more details along with the website.
By then kindly spread the word and please follow @brhat_in in great numbers.
We will keep you updated of all further developments.
12. At last, thank you once again, for showing such great faith in learning and sharing truth. You showed that truth travels. Let us make a commitment to inform 1000 Hindus in our entire lifetime, but for that let us learn more first. Thank you.
