Getting started with Amazon FBA as a beginner is a great opportunity to break out of the 9-5 and create your freedom.
The first stage is to get Helium 10, as well as use that for:
-> Product Research
-> P&L
-> Keyword Tracking
-> Analytics
-> PPC Management
It is super helpful, and I have a custom discount code for you at the end of this thread!
I recommend getting the Platinum Plan.

The second step will be to get an Amazon seller central account.
Sign up for the $39.99 option (Professional).

For verification, you will need a scanned copy of your ID (e.g. drivers licence), and a bank acc statement to verify your address.
You will also need to provide a credit card for charges and a bank account to get paid into.

Once your seller account is set up, you want to dive into product research.
You have to start looking for your first product/s to sell.
My favourite way of finding products at the moment is off the Amazon platform using sites like Etsy or Pinterest.

Think about product research in two steps:
1) Get a product idea
2) Analyze the products
3) Search & Xray the products on Amazon

Does the product you've found have enough demand?
-> Top 15 KWs have 50k+ SV
-> Average BSR 75k or Less
-> Average revenues $10K+/mo
-> Total Revenue $450k+
-> Sales 300+ p/m
-> Evergreen products, not seasonal

Which Niche do I like?
-> Baby
-> Home & Kitchen
-> Sports and Outdoors
-> Office Products
-> Pet Supplies
-> Kitchen & Dining
-> Health & Househild
These all contain EVERGREEN products which can do well all year round.
Avoid clothing, appliances and photo products.

Additional filters I like to add are:
-> ONE variation
-> Maximum 4 listing images
-> Weight under 3lbs
-> Fits into my microwave oven
If you find a bunch of products on page 1 which have <250 reviews, that's a great sign and you should investigate further.

Once you've found a good product you will want to find the main KWs, check search volume, and then find yourself a GOOD supplier who can make your product.
I'll save that for another thread! Be on the lookout!
