The 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah is the Day of Arafah.
Arafah was the day on which Allah perfected His religion, completed His favours upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ, & approved Islam as a way of life

There is no other day like it (Arafah) in the whole year.
The Prophet ๏ทบ said, 'There is no day on which Allah frees people from the Fire more so than on the Day of โArafah. Indeed, He draws near and then boasts of them to the angels then says, โWhat do these want?โ' [Muslim]

Allah says in Qur'an:
Today I have perfected for you your religion and completed upon you My blessing and I have chosen for you Islam as [your] religionโ (5:3)
This verse was revealed on the day of Arafah.

Arafah is the Day of แธคajj and the essence of the pilgrimage. The Prophet ๏ทบ said, "แธคajj is Arafah", -(Nasai), meaning it's all about that day.
Arafah is a day whose fasting expiates the minor sins of the year before and the year after - one single day's fast equivalent to two year's of forgiveness!! (Muslim).

It is a Day that Shayแนญฤn himself feels the most humiliated and despised as he sees the Mercy of Allah descending down.
Simply ,"The best day of the year is the Day of Arafah" [Ibn แธคibbฤn]
So make sure that you take advantage of that Day, do lots of takbฤซr, du`ฤ,, etc
