30 days ago, I created a new paid email list.
Here are the numbers(in ###):
31k through link subscription.
30k through manual subscription.
40k from a 24hrs upsell offer.
That’s an extra 100k in 30 days..all from a tiny but growing email list.
Here's what I've learned so far:
1. Best way to build a highly responsive list is by a trip wire offer.
Something so valuable that anyone can use...
And so cheap that anyone can afford...
This ensures you that you have buyers on your list from day 1.
Makes your email marketing a lil easier that way.
2. Edutainment is the future of email marketing.
It is beyond just educating.
Beyond offering "How to's"
It's now more of educating and entertaining.
And this helps you build a good relationship with your readers...
Before you knw... they'd get addicted to reading your mails

Even @dolapohamzat01
And I just spend my free time binge reading their emails almost all the time.
The result?
A relationship with my readers that makes us part of each other's lives😂
3. The most sweetest and most important sound to a man in any language is his name.
This is a quote from Dale Carnegie's best selling book (How to win friends and persuade people).
So the thing enjoy doing most while writing my mails...
Is calling my readers by their names..
And not just at the usual places like first lines or subject lines...
The trick is to call their names at unusual places such that
It pulls them further unconsciously into what I am writing.
My readers have testified to how amazing it is to see their names in these places.
4. Controversies increases open rates.
Like it or not, if you want your mails to get read...they have to sometimes be controversial...
Out of the norms...
Something that feels like trouble.
I’ve seen it work several times.
I’ve used it multiple times too.
The recent one was this.
Got the highest open and response rates.
And a few “lemme not catch you outside o”
Safe to say…
It worked.
Last one.
5. Nothing builds relationship better than consistency.
Showing up ATLEAST four times in a week will help you grow faster than just sharing values.
If you can’t be consistent writing to your list…
Then get someone who can help.
Even if it involves paying…
I know a top marketer who has one of my students on his payroll.
My student delivers 4 emails a week for him to send to his list…
And he pays her pretty well.
I’m sure he makes 10x more that he pays her for the emails.
Win-win for both of them.
