[1] Background Information About The Claim
Imām Ibn Taymiyyah is a well-known figure throughout history. His views have been misunderstood, and some have been falsely attributed to him, particularly from many of his opponents, الأشعرية.
This has led to the Imām becoming a controversial character, and someone who has been disliked by many, with some people making takfīr of him, specifically the issue of the eternality of the Fire. I will clear up the Imām's stance, if Allāh wills for me to do so.
[2] Defending The Shaykh And Proofs Against The Claim
Here, I will bring three simple proofs that defend the Shaykh.
Proof 1:
In "Majmū' Al-Fatāwā", Volume 18, Page 307, the Imām says:
"And the Imāms of the Salaf of this Ummah and scholars of Ahlul-Sunnah wal-Jamā'ah were in agreement that there are things from the creation that do not perish partly or in totality, such as Paradise and Hell, and the Throne and other than that.
And no one said that all things would perish except a group from the People of Kalām and innovators, such as Jahm Ibn Safwān and the Mu'tazilah and their likes. And this is falsehood that goes against the Allāh's Book, His Messenger's Sunnah, and the consensus of the Salaf."

Proof 2:
In "Dar'u Ta'āruđ al-'Aql wal-Naql", Volume 2, Page 358, Imām Ibn Taymiyyah says:
"And The People of Islām all said there will be no end to Paradise and Hell and they will remain. Because of this, the People of Paradise will always be enjoying Paradise and the People of Hell will be punished, and there is no end to [any of] that."
End quote from "Dar'u Ta'āruđ al-'Aql wal-Naql", Volume 2, Page 358 by Imām Ibn Taymiyyah
Proof 3:
In "Marātib Al-Ijmā'a", Page 267, Ibn Ḥazm says regarding what the Ummah is agreed upon about creed:
"And Hell is real, and it is the place of eternal torment; it and its people will never perish and will remain forever, and this is the destination for every Kāfir who opposes Islām; and the same goes for anyone who opposes any of the Prophets who came before Muḥammad ﷺ."
End quote from "Marātib Al-Ijmā'a", Page 267 by Imām Ibn Ḥazm
Imām Ibn Taymiyyah wrote a short book called "Naqđ Al-Marātib Al-Ijmā'a" where he refuted Ibn Ḥazm on some points where he cited a consensus for something that there was no consensus in.
Interestingly, when the Imām came to the part about creedal matters in which there is a consensus of the Ummah, and so anyone who opposes this is a Kāfir, he doesn't say anything against Ibn Ḥazm on this topic! This indicates his agreement with Ibn Ḥazm on this issue.
[3] Final Conclusion
To conclude, we can see here from the very own works of Imām Ibn Taymiyyah that he did not hold the position that Hell will come to an end. This should leave those who slander the Imām in their thoughts and keep them quiet about this issue.

Bonus Proof:
Imān Ibn Taymiyyah says in Pg. 42 his short treatise, "Al-Radd 'ala man Qāla bi-Fanā' al-Jannah wal-Nār" that no one from the Salaf held the view it ends.
What's also important to point out is that this book itself is a refutation of anyone suggesting such.
[3] Final Conclusion
To conclude, we can see here from the very own works of Imām Ibn Taymiyyah that he did not hold the position that Hell will come to an end. This should leave those who slander the Imām in their thoughts and keep them quiet about this issue.
