Inflation at 7.01% for June. Slightly better, but not by much. The devils in the details though:
Core inflation (inflation not considering food and fuel) is down considerably to 6.21%, This is a huge relief. Inflation in core is sticky. The others are volatile so they matter less as a feel factor:
Oils may still have a high price but because of the base effect, inflation's down below 10% on it:
Looking at core-inflation (less seasonality) on a 3-month period to get a sense of how inflation's moving shorter term, seems like an improvement is happening. Let's see if it sustains in July:
