This story has received surprisingly little coverage so far. Glenn Horowitz, a very well known rare book & archives dealer, has appeared in court along with two others, accused of the theft of the original manuscript of the Eagles song "Hotel California". theguardian.com
Horowitz was charged with attempted criminal possession of stolen property in the first degree and two counts of hindering prosecution in the second degree. Prosecutors said the defendants attempted to sell the manuscripts, created false provenance, and lied to potential buyers.
