A disturbing statement is taken from the Najdi/Salafi published book, โUlama Najdโ, where the author quotes the words of the Grandson of Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab, Abdul Rahman ibn Hasan [d. 1869], regarding his grandfather.
After briefly summarising the life journey of MIAW, the grandson finally gets to MIAWโs โDawahโ and boldly writes:
โSo Allah bestowed His Mercy on this Sheikh [MIAW], who Allah established in the rank [maqฤm] of His Messengers and His Prophets in calling to His Religionโ (!!)

And this is not coming from some zealous, misinformed Wahhabi on social media. This is coming from the THIRD LISTED key Wahhabi โscholarโ of the early Salafi-Wahhabi Dawah in the 6 vol. text, "Ulama Najd". He is also a central figure of the family's โisnฤdโ (chain of authority).
This form of exaggerated praise is typical of cults, who often see their Leaders as some kind of prophetic/ messianic figure. Hence why Sunni Ulama like Imam Abdullah ibn Dawud Al-Hanbali [d.1810] and others compared MIAW to a False Prophet, both in his lifetime and after...

Of course, if such words of praise came from a โSufiโ about one of their sheikhs or "peers", Salafis would be quick to condemn & refute it.

Another key point, which I hope you didnโt miss, is the implicit TAKFIR on the surrounding Muslim Ummah. For who're prophets SENT TO other than kufar/mushriks?

It is ironic that a sect which has an obsession with trying to point out alleged statements of โkufr, shirk, & bidaโ of other Muslims has not looked within the pages of its own primary texts - from its most respected figures to see that such heresy might be much closer to home.
Itโs also ironic that Salafi-Wahhabis criticise Sunnis for โover-praisingโ the ACTUAL Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ, while declaring MIAW to be at the level of a Prophet/ Rasลซl in calling to Islam, can be casually mass published in a mainstream Salafi text, and yet be glossed over.
May Allah protect us from the evil and hypocrisy of this sect.
