The sun will be directly above the Ka’abah on Saturday 16th July at 10:27am ( Nigerian time) this celestial phenomenon will enable people all over the Earth who can see the sun at that moment to determine the direction of the Qibla through the simplest method.
When the sun is above the Ka’abah the shadow lines of all vertical objects on the surface of the earth at that time will point towards the Ka'aba or directly opposite the Ka’abah depending on your location on Earth, for Nigeria the Shadow ll point directly opposite of the Qibla
This phenomenon occurs twice a year 28th May and 16th July.
