To be the best at what you do, you must realise, there are no templates & workflows.
There is only instinct and nature.
Practise so many times that it becomes a part of you, it becomes second nature. Instinctual.
There are 2 requirements to attain this state of mind..
1) Desire. Not a fleeting 'want' born out of a need for some quick money or as a way to peacock & impress. No. A genuine desire to be one with your craft. Learn the intricacies, swim in the trenches and truly, genuinely be the absolute best at what you do. This is a rare quality
2) The mindset of a craftsman. Like a blacksmith, hammering, quenching, hardening his steel. Over and over again. Standing in midst of the blaze and the heat. Engulfed in a fog of soot. Immovable, single point focus. His only thought - the perfect blade. This is how master's work
When you follow a template you constrict yourself into following someone else's journey.
You are no longer one with your craft, you are a shadow of another's work
This will kill your edge.
