Why does nothing in India look beautiful ? From cities to towns to villages all look so ugly & unappealing.
When we go outside, we have a feeling at the back of our mind to go back home or go to a good closed place. Rarely would you prefer staying outside, maybe some park or something like that.
If you're in a small town, the only sane place you can go outside your home is a shopping mall. Any place other than a maintained closed space is too noisy, crowded, dirty & ugly.
The moment someone gets a certain income in India, he buys a car. Because car gives him the way to go out without facing the harsh reality. Car helps them not interact with "India" and "Indians".
I die inside of cringe when someone calls an open marketplace beautiful. How in any world can you find a 4 foot wide street with overhead wires, gutka stains on walls and roads, open gutters & 1 gazzillion shops occupying half the road beautiful ?
Pictures from 4 different cities in 2 different states. Yet all of them give the same Indian energy. It's all the same anywhere you go.
"My country got invaded for 1000 years so I will spit gutka on every empty place I can see."
Indians claim to be patriotic and show-off so much. Yet they can't keep a single national heritage clean, all nationalism dies up when you're actually supposed to show up. At railway stations there are signboards asking people not to spit anywhere.
"Hurr durr how can you say India is ugly ? Look at the picture of this street or locality which makes for 2% of the city's area & where 95% population can't enter, outside the area is open gutter & dirty streets, don't call India as ugly !"
