What I realize from the pages of Indian History is:
1) They didn't allow the real dates of Ancient Bharatiya History to be accepted by occidental scholars, who were always reluctant to the Old Testament and to place them beyond 2500 BC ( as they dated Rigveda from 2500 Bc)

2) They were responsible for gathering wrong translations of Vaidika works and misrepresentation of the Sanatana Culture.
3) Created the disease of "Myth, Mythological and Mythology" by which they figured every Hindu Gods and Sages as Mythological; that means they canceled their existence of them. And the history books still continuing to consider them as mythology
4) They brought the most fanciful, groundless theory of Aryan Invasion and Aryan Migration Theory, and it gave rise to hate among the people. Even though Puranas have mentioned the first crowned prince of Bharat
5) Didn't allow the acceptance of Sanskrit Language as the Mother language of Indo-European.
6) Giving credit to Bharat related to various field like science, medical etc
