By looking at ES & NQ at the same time you can easily spot when the two symbols are not correlated. @I_Am_The_ICT says that when they are not correlated this is the Markets Makers tipping their hand to you.
Prior to the NY open both prices had been going up. But after the NY open the price action between ES & NQ was very different. The 5-min ES candles were choppy, inconsistent, and were not going down much.
NQ on the other hand was making a decisive move down. This tipped me that NQ might be a good candidate for an OTE long using the 8:30 AM & 9:30 AM swings. NQ came down to the OTE levels (actually went lower to fill an imbalance) and reversed.
