the ai would also be able to create good niche games, it's not just regurgitating the lowest common denominator every time

"it would probably make bad/bland games anyway" is not a valid response, it's inherent to the hypothetical that it would make good games
you also can't say "machine learning is only drawing from existing work" again, the hypothetical is that it makes legitimately good games
