What this demonstrates is that homeland by philology is not objective since its easy to create any new homeland by picking up the right choice of words, calling inconvenient words as wanderworts and borrowing, ignoring everything except your own choice of words.
This is also the reason why PIE is simply a model to understand language change. It has NO EVIDENTIARY VALUE to determine homeland. Even homeland was understood to represent the location of reconstructed stage, not earlier or later.
