If you're in eCommerce or spend thousands a month in your business
You should NEVER PAY FOR A FLIGHT
This is how you use Award Stacking to travel the world for free
While INCREASING your Credit Scor
THREADπŸ‘‡
I run two eCommerce brands.
On average, I spend anywhere from $20-40k per month on inventory and marketing.
Here's how I ensure every penny my business spends adds to my travel piggybank.
How Award Stacking Works
Credit card companies are constantly in battle with each other to win new customers.
They try:
- Zero % APR
- Free balance transfers
- Free concierge service
But what they give away most...
FREE AIRLINE MILES
So How Do you Use this?
Having multiple credit cards actually INCREASES you credit score.
That is assuming you pay them off in full EVERY MONTH.
Never leave an outstanding balance.
Simple way: set up auto-pay for every card you open.
HOW to MAXIMIZE
Use the 5/24 Rule
I open 2-3 New Credit Cards Every Year. Never more than 5 within the last 24 months.
Making sure each card I open has at least 50,000 Bonus Airline Miles.
Typically you have to hit a spend minimum to ensure you capture these miles.
Example:
'Spend $4,000 in the first 3 Months to get 60,000 miles'
For me, this is stupidly easy because I'm spending far more than that any way.
Simple Math:
For me, I'm getting anywhere between 100,000 - 180,000 Airline Miles Every year.
This equates to anywhere between 5-12 FREE flights per year.
KEY HERE
I don't have a 9-5 job, so traveling on the least expensive days and times is how to maximize the number of flights I take.
I love flying on Tuesday/Wednesday because I fly cross-countrry or to Mexico for 10,000-20,000 miles.
FINAL PLAYBOOK
1. Open 2-3 Credit Cards a Year (min 50k miles sign up bonus)
2. Ensure you hit the minimum spend to get the miles
3. Pay off credit card each month (auto-pay)
4. Book flights on cheaper travel days
5. Take 5-12 FREE flights a yearπŸ˜‰
