Little things that are not so little:
Saving people’s names with nice emojis.
Reassuring glances from across the room.
Held eye contacts.
Compromises.
Telling the truth.
Giving care silently.
Using “we” “us” “our”.
“I’m proud of you”.
“Text me when you get home”.
Sending a funny and cute gif or sticker and saying "this is so you!"
Spreading the blanket over a friend or lover who’s sleeping.
Praying for someone.
When someone remembers something about you when you didn’t think they listened or cared.
Small gestures of physical touch.
The “I” in front of “I love you” (even if I shy away from it).
A call instead of a text.
“Do you need anything”.
When someone notices that you're juggling many things and ask if they can help.
When someone sends a text that says "I saw this and thought of you" and then a picture.
“You can do this”.
Saying "good morning" to a random in the street.
Sharing a cookie or any sharable food item and giving them the bigger part.
Making a playlist and sending it to a loved one.
Apologizing properly.
Smiling at children when they look at you.
When they ask you about a difficulty you had a while ago and genuinely want to know how things went.
“I left some food for you inside the house”.
Learning something new because of someone else’s interests, so that you could understand them better.
Calling or texting to know if they traveled safely.
