How to overcome your negative inner voices
We all have voices in our minds. Some urging us to do better, and others giving reasons to do the wrong things.
At its extreme, it tells us how much of a loser we are, and how we won't ever amount to anything.
Negative Inner voices started from a negative outer voice. This could be from our a relative growing up, a frustrated teacher or guardian keen to putting us down.
To correct this, we need to hear the opposite of what we were fed over time.
This could be encouraging words from friends, parental figures, or writers. We need to hear them often enough till they become the things we say to ourselves.
We believe that love, respect and kindness only come from worldly success. So if we're not good in sales, driving or sports, we believe we have no right to be appreciated.
Thus we need to develop the mindset that even in failure, we're still worthy of love, respect and kindnes. Having people around like your parents, kids or spouses who love you for who you are, can help you see how awesome you are despite your failures.
Growing up around anxious people who worried about everything could also be another problem.
They had no faith in themselves, so they had no faith in your abilities. They worried about your decisions, your teachers, your friends, your appearance and your future.
And these voices have naturally become your own, which clouds your capacity to take an accurate measurement of what you're capable of. Keeping you in a constant loop of fear and fragility.
Our heads are filled with the voices of everyone we've ever met. We can only kill our negative voices when we can mute them and trust the positive ones to guide us through life.
