Sardar Purandare family was just Mutalik of Peshwa of Hindupati Padshah Satara Chattrapati.
This is a tiny sampling from just 2 of their Wadas at Saswad.
Also including Gandekar Pant Sachiv Bhor Rajwada.
Maratha Wooden Architecture is unparalleled.
Random deteriorating surviving samples from Wadas of Marathi Brahmin families are testament enough. Some surviving Maratha Temples also hold magnificent wooden architecture, like Kanakaditya Surya Mandir in Konkan.
