If you're on TikTok you've seen tons of new pet products for $20-$30 that are selling thousands of units. These often cost about $2 🤯
Add
• $5 shipping
• $1 packaging
That's six figures in profit!
Here's my product playbook to source & launch your own pet product👇🏼
Start by identifying a niche. You want to focus on something where you have a specific audience to speak to--some starting ideas:
- By breed (just for yorkies etc)
- By owner niche (anime plush toys)
- Preference (organic, sustainable)
- Experience (durability, comfort)
Now, onto products and pricing:
Custom soft frisbees go for as little as .30 at a 500 quantity
Custom hard frisbees are less than $1 at the same quantity.
Looking for a vendor? Check out Shenzhen Demeng Toy Design on Alibaba.
Custom plush toys at .69 each, with packaging etc all done at 500 quantity.
Vendor: Shanghai Fantastic Pet Co
They also make pet beds at .50-$3.00
There is no shortage of fun niches and funny ideas for these, not to mention seasonal themes (halloween/christmas etc)
Want to get a little more complex?
I found over 7 popular brands are all made by the same factory-- Shanghai Pet Science and Technology.
They've been doing pet probiotics and health supplements for over 22 years.
Packaged product is $2-3
Work with them on a custom formula.
Looking for some Made in USA options?
Alphia is a top dog food formulator in the US if you want to develop your own line.
For something a bit less ambitious but with great margin, here's what bulk high quality Bully Sticks look like from Bully Bundles.
For joint health chews a good option is Shenzhen Hemp Bio Tech, who also have some healthy formulations and do quality fish oil and salmon based supplements.
When working with any supplement, take the time to really go custom and make something special.
Want to go a little higher end? I love a good fun dog harness
- This tactical harness option is $12 plus 1k MOQ but absolutely amazing and I could see it crushing
- Luxury materials like velvet for $5/unit
- fun pattern designs for $2-10/unit
That's it for factories, links to all of the harnesses and other products are in my Product Peoples newsletter this week if you want specifics.
There are TONS of product for this niche, im just scratching the surface.
Now on to launching ;)

Reminder, if you're looking for factories via Alibaba
Search for vendors with
- Fast response time
- High on-time delivery
- Hundreds of thousands in transactions
- An inspection from Alibaba
That's going to ensure you have someone legit.
For pet products, you're going to want to do a lot of SEO content, so I'd recommend Wordpress + Woocommerce + Stripe for your store.
- The Revolution theme is a winner
- Flywheel for hosting
- Klaviyo for email + popups
- Stamped for reviews and UGC
- Cartflows for sales pages
Once you know the products, start posting content organically
- At least one video a day on TT, Reels & Shorts
- Articles on website answer common questions (use Answer the Public)
- Pick 100 influencers or curator accounts to dm for free product
- Use your best videos for ads
A big accelerant to starting a business in this space is buying a small existing website for a few hundred to a few thousand dollars
On dog frisbees specifically I know @jamesoncamp has a site for sale as we speak, and regularly posts how to do this on his Nano Flips newsletter
@JamesonCamp The same thing can be done for social media accounts, but its a little more sketchy (buying accounts is against terms of service, but happens all the time)
Fameswap is a marketplace for this, just hard to navigate and ensure you're getting a good property. DMs are better.
@JamesonCamp If you have more time than money, starting a curated pet account on TikTok or instagram is a great place to start.
Put the same content you're posting into blog articles on wordpress with the Yoast plugin for SEO. When you're ready to start selling add woocommerce + stripe
@JamesonCamp Have an existing following in the space, but all this factory sourcing sounds overwhelming?
I'm a big fan of hat @therealRoShow and team are building at Pietra for creators - plug into an existing white glove ecosystem of product development and fulfillment.
@JamesonCamp @therealRoShow That's a wrap on my Pet Product Playbook
