Around 1680, Amir Ul Mu'mineen Padishah Ghazi Muhi-Al-Din Muhammad Aurangzeb Alamgir Bahadur invaded Deccan and ended 2 Sultanates namely Bijapur and Golconda.
He then defeated and subjugated Marathas.
Thus came the "Dakhin province" of Hind in existence.
