HOW TO BUILD PERSONAL JUDGEMENT IN YOUR EMPLOYEES
As a manager, your employees will often have to take personal judgement calls on situations that are outside of the procedures you gave them
Here is how to build personal judgement skills without waiting for costly mistakes

2/ After you train them on the standard procedure, come up with an example that contains situations outside of the procedure. Ask them what they would do. Then tell them if it's correct or not AND WHY.
Keep asking them what they would do over three to ten different examples.
3/ You cannot train personal judgement with a procedure or a training because personal judgement is what happens outside of procedures and trainings.
But you can come up with hypotheticals, ask them what they would do, and tell them whether it's correct or not AND WHY.
