As a newbie in the online space, a total stranger calling you a "scammer" can totally shatter your confidence.
After spending 2 years interacting with 350 leads daily.
Here is the exact step by step process to combat this...
1. Understand that most people are ignorant of the fact that ordinary people like them are making money from the Internet.
Also know that those legally making money from the Internet never got that knowledge for free. You paid for that knowledge using money, blood...
...sweat, tears & sleepless nights.
Heck, everyone went to school paying school fees to acquire knowledge. So do not feel sad trying to sell knowledge & receive a backlash from ignorant folks in the process.
People generally hate or fight against what they don't understand.
2. How you can tackle this...
Obviously this lead is in your dm seeking for help. As a Marketer your job is to help and be compensated for that help.
If someone uses this particular statement- "You are a scammer, this thing can be found on YouTube".
Tackle it this way...
"Since this information can be found on YouTube, why are you in my dm and not on YouTube using this FREE information to make yourself rich ?"
"Why are you in my dm ?"
"Go to YouTube & make yourself RICH"
PROCEED TO BLOCK. 🚫
3. What not to do...
Never try to reason, try to sell or even try to convince such lead.
Nooooo!
It is not your job to save everyone, Jesus died while doing that already.
Focus that time and energy on more productive things like prospecting new leads.
4. Finally, seek for help from more experienced colleagues if this encounter damages your mental health.
Your mind is where the money is made first before manifesting into your bank account.
Protect it by all means.
