You’re super motivated to learn data science/analysis but don’t know where to start?
Here's a start to get familiar with data area:
Read & open your mind: towardsdatascience.com
There’s tons of amazing articles, it’s very very useful. It gives tons ideas of what you can do.
Skills to deepen: Python, Dataviz, Tableau, Excel…
For python, I like realpython.com and geeksforgeeks.org to develop python skills.
Also, accounts I value: @python_engineer, @jawaddheini
For dataviz, have a look at this thread I wrote earlier this summer:
Practice!
Install @pycharm, anaconda, or whatever IDE you want, and PRACTICE what you learned.
Theory will never give you experience you get when you practice. You can execute code written in articles you read or by build your own personal projects.
Have fun with playbook ressources:
jakevdp.github.io
Follow people who share knowledge about data, ML.
Me, obviously 😉 but I can also recommend you: @Al_Grigor,
@svpino,
@marktenenholtz,
@DanKornas who share great content regarding data science and machine learning.
Video lovers, I won’t help much as I’m not a fan of watching videos: l just saw few from an amazing repo @Al_Grigor made: github.com, it’s worth it!
I hope you liked this thread!
Like the 1st post if you found it useful,
Retweet if you think it can help others,
Follow me if you want to learn more about data science, computer science or trading.
#PaulineDataCommunity do you have any other ressources to share?
