For me, the most awaited book of the year arrived a few days ago, when friend and brilliant author @6amiji sent me the copy of her book: Ramayana Unveiled.
It is for me, the most important book of the year, because of special reasons.

Every since I was a child, the legend of Rama would mesmerize me so completely it was impossible to read, watch or listen to his story without having tears in my eyes. His story was so relatable.
He was an obedient son who just wanted to obey his father and be just.
He was an obedient student who wanted to serve his guru.
He was a loving husband who wanted to protect his love.
He was a caring brother, and friend who just wouldn't let these relationships go.

His pain when he leaves Ayodhya; his pain when he loses Sita; his quest to get his love back. All that is so human and yet so divine.
There is no other story like that of Rama...
And Ami Ji has done a wonderful job rendering it, as the cursory reading tells me.
