We’ve made our clients over $1.5M just from SMS marketing
And we’ve done the majority of it with these 7 flows
Here's how you can do the same for your brand:

1. Welcome series
Self-explanatory.
Do 3 texts here if possible (depends on region as to whether or not this is allowed) and increase incentive in the last one
MMS on text 1, SMS on 2 & 3
2. Browse abandoned
MMS with the products they viewed on text 1, SMS with an incentive on text 2 if they haven’t purchased
This should be a printer for you
3. Abandoned checkout
Sauce: Split this up by international vs US customers. You can text international people more than once in this flow while you can’t with US people.
MMS with product images in text 1, SMS with incentive on text 2 if they haven’t purchased
4. Post-purchase upsell
Note: we often don’t do this for clients as it can seem cheap, but it definitely works and can be used around BFCM
Only do this for first time customers
Thank them for their purchase and offer them a limited time deal
Converts a lot of people
5. Post-purchase thank you
If we do a bounce back we only send this to 2x purchasers & above so they don’t get spammed
Thank the customer and remove buyers remorse
1 text is perfect here, short & direct
6. Shipping notifications
I think this is more of a ‘nice to have’ flow
It gets people excited and reduces customer support burden for when people have concerns
Would recommend
7. Customer winback
I’d do 3 SMS here with a 10-30 day gap between each
Spread it out a bit more and you give yourself a better chance of converting people in my opinion
Also ramp up incentive at the very end, it’ll work very well on this flow in particular
